Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get rich becoming a game developer?

Yes you can. But, if that's your goal, please leave this website now. Our companies only look for people who are passionate about games. Passion is the highest priority. Developers who are dedicated and really enjoy making games, and trying new things, will prove to be an important asset to companies.

What jobs are available?

Basically, two types: Game Developer (Programmer) and Game Artist. Only people who can create. We're not looking for middle managers.

I don't have a college degree nor a diploma. Can I still apply?

Yes. As long as you're able to write good code or produce awesome art, there is a strong chance.

Is computer science important for making games?

Yes it's important. Solving hard game problems will require a good understanding of various algorithms and theories. However, this can be learned on the job.

I don't have a formal educational background in Games Design. Can I still apply?

Yes. As long as you have worked on game related projects, it's ok. We also look closely at your side/past projects, to determine if there's a right fit.

I know how to code server-side stuff. Is this a bonus?

Yes, it is. Knowing server side programming will actually help, because more games are increasingly needing some form of backend component.
